Hi Dan and Frid!

First off I would like to thank you for the amazing podcast you guys have created and applaud you for your consistency with generating content despite being a smaller production. If I recall correctly, I started listening to your podcast at episode 7 and have listened to every episode since. What I really enjoy most about your podcast is being able to listen and engage in some games of Hearthstone, while at work or doing yard work. The personal touch you have injected into the podcast is perfect and every time I listen I feel like I'm meeting up with some friends to talk to Hearthstone.

As for me, my name is Crixus (Cole) and I just hit legend for the first time here today. I've been playing since open beta and mainly play Priest and it is my only golden hero. I've never had a ton of time to play Hearthstone, so getting to legend has seemed out of reach for me until the most recent changes to ladder. Even with those changes I found myself getting no further than rank 4 or 5 and this month was looking to be the same. Coming out of Memorial weekend, I got the quest to play demons and hit lightning in a bottle with Even Warlock. I quickly shot from rank 4 to 2 in just a couple of hours and decided to make the push to legend with two days left in the month. I bounced all around ranks 1 and 2 all day yesterday and right away this morning hit a 4 game win streak to get me to a Taunt Druid as my final boss. I started the game with the coin and both Mountain Giants, so was able to navigate around a few taunts and end the game before he could play Hadronox.

Many finer points of my game improved from listening to your podcast.  Things like minion placement and tuning into to your opponents actions to try to get a feel for the cards in their hand.  In the past, I had approached every game of Hearthstone trying to play it safe and not lose, but you guys helped me to learn when it's right to clear the board and when it's right to apply the pressure and just go face.  That is my biggest takeaway from the coaching from your podcast, don't play to not lose the game, play to win the game.

Thank you so much for everything you do!
